5:20pm /G4/ I'm back from the game smilin' like a muthafucka. We won 18-15 and I scored the 1st TD of the game with a 7yd INT RET TD! How's that for an impact player. And I got the shit on tape. LOL I think I'm gonna make it into a video clip, I gotta show off a lil' bit.

About 5mins. into the 1st half we had them pinned deep at their own 7yd line. On 1st down the QB rolled to his left and threw a duck back across to the right. I almost got it but I broke too late and it was incomplete. 2nd down was another incomplete. On 3rd down he did it again with heavy pressure coming he rolled left and threw back right. I broke on the high pass and snagged it in like I was 6'5". Untouched I hit the right corner of the endzone putting us up 6-0. We missed the extra point.

I didn't start since I was new on the roster but I came in 2nd series and we alternated each series all game. I cannot lie I was bringing the heat and keeping the middle on lock down. The QB didn't know if I was coming or dropping back, so I did a decent job of disguising my blitzes. I've always been a pass rusher at either outside linebacker (OLB) or defensive end (DE). Coach put me at middle linebacker (ILB). I didn't want to play there but hey it's his team. ILB is lots of pass coverage, dropping back and reading the QB. I like to be aggressive make contact and blow up plays. But as it turns out I did a pretty good damn job today.

10:08am /G4/ It's Public Enemy time! Pump up the music time, get ready for football time! I love listening to P.E. to get worked up for kickoff. Today is game 1 of an 8 game season and my first time playing with this particular Co-ed team. I haven't played since I had my Co-ed team in Fall '03 and messed up my ankle making an INT return.

I ain't gun shy though it's felt fine for a long time. I go back to DE and OLB :) Ole' #95 is back! I got the schedule and map posted in my Yahoo group if folks want to come down and support the team.

10:23am /WIN/Ok I'm uploading these gotdayum clips to the LINKS section of my Yahoo group. Had to make them under 5MB this tim so instead of just 3 clips like I had it, it's 5 clips. Oh well. Let's see if anyone likes watching me and Lady Clove fuckin'.

4:04pm /WIN/ OK IT'S OFFICIAL MY HARD WORK HAS PAID OFF! I JUST GOT RECOGNIZED ON THE STREET FOR THE VERY 1ST TIME AS DANNY BLAQ.

On my lunch break around 2:15pm I'm walking up 19th to go to the Farragut West post office. I see two guys walking down 19th, a tall white guy and shot stocky black guy. I got a big box under my left arm so I step more to the right as they approach so they can pass me, and I switch the box to my right arm. About 6' in front of me the black guy just says something like, "Heyyyyyy wasssup man!" I had no clue who he was. We stop right there and I stare at him like okay he must be a guy I went to college with or played against in flag football. Him or his boy didn't look familiar. He sticks his arm out so to be courteous I take his hand we do the black power pound/dap/one-arm hug/hard slap on the back. That's when he whispers, "Danny Blaq, right?"

I busted out with this big ass smile nodding my head and said , "Yeah man." He started laughing I started laughing. He tapped his boy on the arm and said, "Yo that's a supastar right there man." The white guy I'm sure didn't recognize me but he was laughing with us. I'm sure he was thinking, what's the big deal. LOL All I could do was say, "Thank you man, I appreciate it." I was so shocked and caught off guard I didn't think to ask him where he knew me from: my DVD, Yahoo group, website, or the Porno Dan party for Mary Cary I attended on Monday, March 7th. Whoever you guys were mark that moment in time, if I ever get famous it'll be you two that I mention as the 1st time I ever was recognized in public. It felt good though to know it was a broth that knew me, sorta gettin' some support from my community. My people! :)

Anyway I made it to the post office with a grin that still hasn't left my face. The only way that could have been better was if it was TWO GIRLS THAT SPOTTED ME. Mammon mm.I better get back to work now.
